Maker of pool cues from 1994 to present in Burlington, New Jersey.
Gus Pinca started playing pool in the 1970s. He made his first cue in 1994. A full-time custom furniture maker, Gus specializes in custom oak interior work on new homes. At night he makes cues as a hobby in the shop he has at home. Most Ting cues are one-of-a-kind designs. Inlay work can be done by hand or on the CNC machine that Gus modified. Gus also has a metal lathe so he can make any type of screw thread himself, from metals or exotic materials like G-10 epoxy. He can make any type of flat-faced or piloted joint. Gus prefers handles of exotic woods or leather as opposed to Irish linen.
Ting cues are easily identified by a "Gus Pinca" signature or the initials "TP" engraved on the tip of the joint screw or on the butt cap. Gus guarantees his cues against construction defects that are not the result of abuse, and they are guaranteed against warpage for one year. If you are interested in talking to Gus about a new cue or cue that needs to be repaired, you can contact him at Ting Custom Cues, listed in the Trademark Index.
