Maker of pool cues from 1994 to present in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Richard Neighbors grew up with a pool table in his parents´ home and has played the game since the age of seven. He started working on cues when he left the service in 1966, and even made a few hustler cues during that time. He later became a partner with his cuemaking friend, Sherm Adamson, in 1992. In 1994, the two split up the partnership and Richard started making cues on his own. The two remain the best of friends, and often spend time in each other´s shops.
Richard now makes about one cue a week in his one-man shop. He makes everything himself, except for the tips, screws, and bumpers. Custom-designed inlays and points are available, and Richard uses the latest in CNC technology. He can also make short-spliced cues if the customer prefers. Most R.H.N. cues are easily identifiable by the "Richard H. Neighbors" signature that is usually followed by the date of completion on the cues.
R.H.N. custom cues are guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects that are not the result of warpage or abuse. If you have an R.H.N. cue that needs further identification or repair, or would like to order a new R.H.N. cue, contact R.H.N. Custom Cues, listed in the Trademark Index.
