Maker of pool cues from 1992 to present in Desert Hot Springs, California.
Ned Morris and Mark Schwenson were luthiers for twelve years before they made their first pool cue together, while working for a guitar company. They have been building cues full-time since 1992 in Desert Hot Springs, California. Morris cues feature a flat-faced joint with a solid high-grade bronze pin, as they believe it provides a softer and more sensitive hit than stainless steel. All points are V-cut or channel cut, and woods are seasoned for a minimum of one year to assure stability. They make all their cue components.
From 1992 until 2003 Morris cues were marked with an "MC." In the autumn of 2003 they started engraving the year on the butt cap as well; eg. "Morris 03".
